Kaladharan Nair Winner of the Kendra Sangeeta Nataka Akademi Award for Acting, 2006. Has been a major presence in the Malayalam theatre as actor and director. Performed with the prestigious Foots Barn theatre group from France.
Neha Mahajan Neha starred in Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children, directed by Deepa Mehta. Other films include Bewaqt Barish, Neelkanth Master, Feast of Varanasi, Siddhant; and many others. Neha is also a concert level Sitar player.
Akram Mohammed Is a professional dancer and upcoming actor.
THE DIRECTORS
Satish and Santosh Babusenan are brothers. They've been ardent film watchers since the early 1980s. They started off as cinematographers and producers in Mumbai shooting music, corporates and shorts. Then they took a long sabbatical of about twelve years and are back now with their first feature THE PAINTED HOUSE. It is jointly written, cinematographed and directed by them. Satish has an M.Des from IIT Bombay and Santosh, a PhD in film studies.
